As a result of the aging infrastructure on Wharf 1 and 2 at Port of Brisbane, it was necessary to demolish and replace the relieving slabs, as well as upgrade the under-wharf services.
Holovision aided the project by providing spatial information to enable design verification before fabrication and surveying to ensure precise set-out and accurate pick-up of as-built data upon completion.
Our scope included laser scanning and surveying above and below the wharves along the entire 330m work section to determine how to best tie the new precast panels into the existing infrastructure.
A strategic and bespoke approach to each visit was required due to working around the tides for all under-wharf work and navigating around the daily flow of terminal traffic and operations.
